BTS Software Solutions is proud to announce it has been selected by SmartCEO Magazine as the small business winner of its Baltimore Cornerstone Awards for Howard County, Md.

SmartCEO Magazine’s Cornerstone Awards program honors businesses headquartered within the Baltimore metropolitan region that are exemplary community stewards and key economic drivers of their home counties. Companies of all sizes and industries were selected as finalists based on the positive impacts each has made on job creation and retention, market competition, and philanthropy.

Headquartered in Columbia, a small, tight-knit community located outside Baltimore in Howard County, Md, BTS Software Solutions is home to technological innovators who transform ideas into technology designed to enrich people’s lives through helping them communicate, connect with customers, and stay informed. BTS Software Solutions recently consolidated five separate locations into its main office in Howard County to allow it to better serve its customers, improve the quality of life for its employees, and provide exceptional opportunities to give back to the community.

The company’s staff is comprised of active leaders in local church and community organizations, the State Foster Parent of the Year, members of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts groups, and a variety of other service organizations. Through its partnership with the Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA), the company was awarded a Catalyst Development Loan, the Howard County VLT program, to help grow its rapidly expanding customer base and create new jobs within the county.
